There’s a lot happening in Potrero, and the Rebuild Potrero Community-Building Initiative is part of the change! Join us at the next Community-Building Meeting to hear about the progress and provide input on future activities.

Just a few of the exciting developments that we’ll be discussing:
- Free community ZUMBA class and other Healthy Living Activities. Every day there is an activity to encourage you to live a healthier lifestyle and meet your Potrero neighbors. Learn more about these activities and brainstorm how to improve the program for 2013.
- The new Texas Street Garden. This 1/3-acre community-based garden is under construction and will be opening up to the community later this fall. Help us get the Potrero Sustainable Living Group up and running again, and hear from the Garden Managers about the garden educational program that will be starting later this year.
- A community-wide event. The last community-wide party was a huge success. Let’s start planning the next one!
- The Healthy Generations Project. In partnership with the Potrero Family Resource Center, the San Francisco Foundation, and Potrero residents, we are kicking off a parenting program focused on preparing Potrero kids for kindergarten by protecting their brain development during the critical ages of 0-5. Learn more about this incredible collaboration.
